Cast

Dennis Kusin - Abdullahi, Arab Merchant, Doctor

Dennis started at the Metropolitan Theater as member of the MET Chorus, Karilagan Dance Company, and Dayang-Dayang Dance Group.  He has appeared in different plays such as Magsimula Ka, Evita, The Great White Way, Gomburza, etc.

Dennis, who hails from Davao, was born and raised as a Muslim and is proud to be the only Muslim member of the cast of Bakhita and Magnificat.
 

Oliver L. Oliveros - Mahdi, Mr. Michielli

Oliver has been squeezing musicals into his busy schedule as communication practitioner for the Guoco Group of Companies, MA communication studies at De La Salle University, and mission work for CFC Singles for Christ.  He appeared in the Palanca-winning Bien Aligtad as Takyo Bakting, workshop production of Gantimpala's Dormitorio 24-Oras, and in student productions of Les Miserables as Jean Valjean, and Rent as soloist B, including other voice recitals.

Oliver will soon appear in Baclaran the musical with music by Louie Ocampo.

He is also the webmaster of the official Bakhita the musical web site.
 

Nina-Mimmina

Nina as a toddler is usually tagged along by her Kuya Daryl Reyes in the performances of Magnificat throughout the country.  When the script calls for a young child, she is first in line at the auditions.

She has since appeared in Bing Pimentel's religious revue, Nasaan si Hesus?
